7th Annual Halloween Spook-Tacular

Studio 33 has been extensively made-over with a "haunted house" motif, there's a Gothic pipe-organ remix of the theme, George Gray (playing the role of a bluescreened disembodied head) calls everyone down in a classic Transylvanian accent, and "Count Drewcula" enters, not via Door #2, but is actually flown in through wires.

Tombstones decorate the Turntable area. Highlights include:

"Drew Carey - All Dressed Up and No Place to Go"
"Adam Sandler - Not Dead Yet!"
"RIP Mike Richards - I Told You I Was Sick" (noooooooo comment!)
"Evelyn Warfel - Cats Got Her Tongue"

Again, the bidding displays have been given a "spooky" font makeover. I suppose that's going to be a regular feature of these themed shows now.

First up today is Witch?, with these prizes at stake (see what I did there?):

Yucky $even -- a rename that actually sums up a lot of peoples' opinion of this unusually-cruel-of-late game:
2013 Hyundai Veloster (1.6L, eco-shift w/paddle shifters, auto-dimming rearview mirror w/home link, carpeted mats, cargo tray/organizer, Auto Armor, rearview camera, interior lighting; G)

I know models are pressured to be thin, but this is ridiculous! And I am so not cleaning up that prop...

...Wow. Just when you think you have all the answers... I end up looking like an idiot. Again. ^^;

I just hope this doesn't drive the wrong behavior in future contestants. Of course, I probably hope in vain.

Unusual pattern...

Instead of Drew reaching into the slot, a hand comes through the board to give him the slip! Ooooo-kay then...

Punch #1
$2500
Go on...
Punch #2
$2500
Go on...

That was what we call in the business a "bad move." Two of those in a row, I probably would've at least considered cutting out with a decent sum of money, but Carlos still thinks he can do better.

For his sake, I hope he's right, as Thing provides us with the third and final card...

Punch #3
$5000
Win $5,000

Well, what do you know?

(For the record: Partial wins only count in this game for bailouts. Only if the final slip revealed is $10K or $25K will I count the game as a win.)

(CC1: Bailey's coffee creamers)

Note to Viewers: This is the Showcase Showdown, the bit with the big wheel. Not the bidding game at the end of the show. Just the big wheel. The Showdown determines who goes on to the Showcases. Get it? Got it? Good.

It's been thirty-eight years, people... let's at least pretend we're trying to keep this straight, mmkay?

Appropriately, the Bat-Nipple Suit wearer was a DNF. ;^P I do feel a boat was missed here, though, due to not replacing the usual race music with something a bit more Halloween-appropriate. Still, can't complain too much with over $4,300 in prizes won from a random draw.

Drewcula shows his displeasure with the green rat by biting it!

Good news for David: He has the advantage on this last bid.

Bad news for David: If he doesn't make the best use of it, he'll end up being the victim of...

...yes, folks, they're baa-aaaaack, for a special Halloween-only return engagement...

...the infamous, dreaded, Price is Right Contestants' Row F4 VULTURES! And they're hungry after my not using them for over thirteen months!

David, my friend... just bid well, that's all I can say.
