Win $10,000
(Cleaner: $5.49)

Solution:
Mailbox: Juice = $3.79
1st floor: Candy ($2.29) + Sauce ($1.99) = $4.28
2nd floor: Flour ($3.59) + Deodorant ($1.59) = $5.18
Attic: Cleaner = $5.49

For the record, the odds of putting the GPs in the correct order, if you just place them at random with no consideration towards prices, are 1:720. In contrast, Plinko, which is based entirely on luck (assuming you win all five chips), has odds of 1:59,049 of reaching its maximum... which is half as much as what Pay the Rent offers. Between that factoid and this downright sadistic setup today, I think we're kinda missing a check or a balance somewhere...

Update: GSN board user TVLubber points out that there is actually a second winning combination in this setup!  You can swap the juice and the flour for each other in the solution mentioned above, and that would work as well ($3.79 + $1.59 = $5.38 on the second floor).  So it's actually somewhat forgiving at that, since the odds were halved this way (down to "only" 1:360).  Even so, this was just a nasty, nasty setup if you're looking for a win.

I curse my mild numerical dyslexia -- at first I entered this as a win, until I realized I'd transposed the middle digits again. Sigh. For the record, he did what I did.

Hey, this is actually starting to look pretty good by recent Pathy standards! Let's see if he can keep it up...

Also, I just now noticed they still haven't fixed this game's embarassing HD problem! Once the 6 lit up, the bleedover made it obvious the next digit was supposed to be a 1. I guess it's as well the player's back is always kept to the ARP display, otherwise this might really be a problem instead of just an amateurish annoyance. Still, they've got to do something about this, because it just looks awful.

Of all the times to finally break the streak (in each of the six times Bargain Game was played last year after its return, the correct prize to choose was always on the left), it's on this seemingly no-brainer setup. Have mercy, Mike!
